Who Is Cresha
LaCresha (Cre) graduated from Centennial High School, where she was a member of the Drill Team and Pep Squad, and was crowned Homecoming Queen—all while taking courses at a junior college. Cre has always been motivated and driven to succeed. She landed her first summer job at 13 years old, working at a daycare center to afford her love for fashion. By age 16, she had become quite popular for her musical accomplishments as the lead vocalist for the rap group Queens of Compton. She inherited her entrepreneurial spirit from her father, Cool V, owner of the then-label C-Note Records. As part of the young, buzzing rap group, she performed at shows that included acts from NWA, DJ Quik, 2nd II None, Kid Frost, Candyman, AMG, Hi-C, and more. Their song “Move Your Booty” even became the title track for the TV show Harry and the Hendersons.
Education/Professional Career
During high school, she began her undergraduate studies at Compton college. During her studies at LA Southwest College she simultaneously signed a two-year contract with Glamour Models. Due to ongoing scheduling conflicts, she was forced to choose between modeling and medicine. Although modeling was a deep passion, she believed medicine offered a more secure future. She chose medicine with the intention of returning to modeling after completing her nursing program. After finishing her graduate studies at UCLA, she worked at a renowned hospital as a charge nurse, was later promoted to hospital supervisor and worked as an interim director. Alongside her charge nurse to supervisor role, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) serving an underserved area in Watts, California. Merging her medical expertise with her love for beauty, "Cre the NP" entered the aesthetics industry. She became a certified nurse injector and earned further certifications in microneedling with radiofrequency, Co2 lasers, and microblading.
Entrepreneurialism
Cresha (AKA Cre The N.P.) founded Feminine Hustle Entertainment to support her son, Mani Da Don, in his music career. She secured him a role as an anti-bullying advocate for the Los Angeles Unified School District, where he performed at various schools and events. Mani Da Don has shared the stage with artists like Mindless Behavior and participated in celebrity basketball games featuring stars like Justin Bieber and Nipsey Hussle. As his manager, she appeared alongside him on Lifetime’s Emmy-nominated series The Rap Game, where he won Season 2. Fuelled by her business drive, she helped him establish his own label. Additionally, she Co-created and signed her first TV show, Beat Makers, with Urban Pix and Roku TV. With several projects in development, Cre has re-focused on the global launch of her cosmetic and wellness line, aiming to redefine beauty and health.
Spirit Guides
Nothing is done alone. For those who believe in angels, the two in Cre's life who have since transitioned happen to be her mother and grandmother—the matriarchs of her family. It can be incredibly challenging to lose the two most important women in one's life so suddenly and unexpectedly. However, Cre feels a deep duty to carry on their legacy of greatness and be the woman she was raised to be. While she wishes they could be here to experience this journey with her, she constantly feels their presence and is deeply grateful for it. To anyone who has lost a loved one, she offers these words: we must remain strong and carry on their memory by never forgetting them or their sacrifices.
